Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient |
---|---|
2 Tbsp | canola oil |
1½ lb | brussels sprouts, halved |
4 | scallions, cut into 1-inch sections |
2 Tbsp | Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Garlic Base |
2 Tbsp | oyster sauce |
4 tsp | packed brown sugar |
Directions
In large wok or skillet set over high heat, add oil. Add brussels sprouts and cook, stirring often, for 3 to 5 minutes or until browned and starting to soften.
Stir in scallions. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium-high. Stir in Roasted Garlic Base, oyster sauce and brown sugar. Cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until brussels sprouts are well coated.
Stir in 1/4 cup water. Cook, covered, for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brussels sprouts are just tender and most of the liquid has evaporated.
Tip: Substitute brussels sprouts with broccoli florets or cauliflower florets.
