2 Tbsp | Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base |
2 Tbsp | adobo sauce from canned chipotles |
1½ tsp | ground cumin |
1 lb | stewing beef |
6 whole cloves | garlic |
2 | limes, divided |
8 | corn tortillas, warmed |
1 | ripe avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and chopped |
4 | green onions, thinly sliced |
⅓ cup | fresh cilantro leaves |
Directions
Combine 1 cup water, Roasted Beef Base, adobo sauce and cumin in slow cooker; stir in beef and garlic. Squeeze in juice of 1 lime.
Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 5 to 6 hours until beef is very tender.
Assemble beef in warmed tortillas with avocado, green onions and cilantro. Cut remaining lime into wedges; serve with tacos.
Tip: Sprinkle with crumbled Cotija or feta cheese if desired.
