Maple-Pecan Roasted Cauliflower

Sweet and savory, this roasted cauliflower with a hint of cayenne pepper will delight your taste buds. It’s a wonderful side dish and especially good with roast turkey or pork.

Ingredients

⅓ cup olive oil
¼ cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base
½ tsp cayenne pepper
8 cups small cauliflower florets
½ cup chopped pecans
2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh chives

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425˚F. Stir together oil, maple syrup, Roasted Beef Base and cayenne pepper; toss with cauliflower and pecans.

    Transfer to parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes or until cauliflower is golden brown and tender, mixing once halfway through cooking time.

    Transfer to serving platter. Sprinkle chives over top.

Tip: Substitute walnuts or almonds for pecans.
