1 lb cooked Italian-style ground sausage
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 small yellow onion, diced
2 carrots, peeled, thinly sliced
2 celery ribs, thinly sliced
1 tsp minced garlic
6 cups water
2½ Tbsp Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base
1 can (28-ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (5.5-ounce) tomato juice
2 tsp dried basil leaves
2 tsp dried oregano leaves
¼ tsp coarse black pepper
1 bay leaf
1 bag (12-ounce) frozen green beans
1 can (14.5-ounce) great northern beans, drained and rinsed

    Cook Italian sausage until done (about 10 min).

    In a soup pot with oil over medium-high heat, add onion, carrots, celery and garlic; cook for 3 minutes.

    Add water, Roasted Beef Base, diced tomatoes, and tomato juice; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

    Reduce heat to medium-low, add basil, oregano, black pepper, bay leaf, green beans and sausage. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add beans and heat through, about 5 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving.
