Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Better Than Bouillon® Seasoned Vegetable Base
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 bunches asparagus (1 lb total), trimmed
⅓ cup crumbled goat cheese
¼ cup chopped toasted pecans
2 tbsp balsamic glaze

Directions

  • 1

Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grates well.

  • 2

In medium bowl, whisk together oil, Seasoned Vegetable Base and garlic. Add asparagus and toss to coat.

  • 3

Grill asparagus, turning occasionally for 12 to 15 minutes or until grill-marked and tender.

  • 4

Arrange asparagus on serving dish. Sprinkle with goat cheese and pecans and drizzle with balsamic glaze.

Tip: Substitute pecans with walnuts or hazelnuts. For a nut-free substitute, try sunflower seeds, raw green pumpkin seeds (pepitas) or pomegranate seeds.
