This creamy rich dip with caramelized onions and Roasted Beef Base is addictively delicious.

1 Tbsp | butter |
2 | onions, thinly sliced |
1 clove | garlic, minced |
1 Tbsp | finely chopped fresh thyme |
2 Tbsp | Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base |
½ tsp | granulated sugar |
8 oz | cream cheese, at room temperature |
1 cup | sour cream |
2 Tbsp | lemon juice |
1 Tbsp | Dijon mustard |
½ tsp | pepper |
2 Tbsp | finely chopped fresh chives |
Directions
Melt butter in large skillet set over medium heat; cook onions, garlic, thyme, Roasted Beef Base and sugar, stirring often, for 15 to 20 minutes or until onions are golden brown and very tender. Spread onto baking sheet in single layer; let cool completely.
In food processor, pulse together cooled onion mixture, cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, mustard and pepper until smooth. Sprinkle with chives.
Tip: Serve as a dip for chips, crackers and veggie crudités.
