Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient |
---|---|
½ cup | cup butter, melted |
2 Tbsp | Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Garlic Base |
1 Tbsp | dried Italian seasoning blend |
2 loaves | Italian or sourdough bread |
½ cup | crumbled cooked bacon |
1 cup | shredded mozzarella cheese |
1 cup | shredded Cheddar cheese |
2 | green onions, thinly sliced |
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Stir together butter, Garlic Base and seasoning blend; set aside. Slice bread in 1-inch intervals, almost all the way through but leaving loaves intact at the base. Score in the same way, in the opposite direction.
Place bread on two large pieces of foil, overlapping slightly. Brush butter mixture all over bread and into nooks and crannies. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Wrap tightly in foil and arrange on baking sheet.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until heated through. Unwrap and let stand for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with green onions.
Tip: Serve with guacamole, ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing or warm marinara sauce for dipping.
