With the simple ingredients of cheese and pepper, this classic Italian pasta dish gets a flavor boost with Better Than BouillonĀ® Roasted Chicken Base.

12 oz spaghetti
3 Tbsp Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Chicken Base
¼ cup butter
1½ tsp cracked pepper, divided
¾ cup grated Romano cheese, divided
¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions

    Cook pasta according to package directions with the addition of 2 Tbsp Roasted Chicken Base added to pot; drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid.

    Set pasta pot over low heat; stir in remaining Roasted Chicken Base, butter and 1 tsp pepper. Add pasta and reserved cooking liquid; add 1/2 cup Romano and parsley, stirring vigorously until well coated.

    Divide among 4 bowls; sprinkle with remaining Romano and pepper.

For added zest, top with a sprinkle of freshly grated lemon zest and a squeeze of lemon juice.
