Ingredients
| Quantity | Ingredient |
|---|---|
| 1 lb | ground bison |
| 1 tsp | Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base |
| ⅓ cup | grated Parmesan cheese |
| ¼ tsp | freshly ground black pepper |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| ¼ cup | ketchup |
| 1 tsp | brown sugar |
| 2 tsp | balsamic vinegar |
| ¼ tsp | black pepper |
| ¼ tsp | sambal oelek, chili paste |
| 4 | hamburger buns, split and toasted |
Directions
Heat the grill to 450°F.
In a large bowl combine the bison, Beef Base, Parmesan cheese, pepper and salt. Form into 4-ounce patties.
Place the burgers directly onto the grill and grill to desired temperature, 3-4 minutes per side. Carefully remove the burgers from the grill using a long-handled spatula to a serving plate.
Add the ketchup, sugar, vinegar, pepper and sambal oelek to a small saucepan and cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
To serve, divide the ketchup evenly among buns, and top with burgers.
