2 tsp Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base
1 lb 80/20 ground beef*
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp cumin
1 cup water
1 cup canned black beans in juice
2 tsp Better Than Bouillon® Smoky Chipotle Base
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1½ cup iceberg lettuce, finely chopped
½ cup red onion, chopped
½ cup Roma tomatoes, seeds removed and chopped
½ cup garlic-lime aioli
4 10" tortillas
4 6" tortillas
4 crunchy tostadas

Directions

    Add Better Than Bouillon Beef Base to water and heat until dissolved, about 30 seconds in the microwave or 1 minute on the stovetop. Stir and set aside.

    In a large sauté pan over medium heat, sauté the ground beef until it begins to release the fat.

    Add Better Than Bouillon Chipotle Base, onion powder, black pepper and cumin; continue to sauté until the beef is browned and cooked through.

    Remove from heat, drain on a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.

    Place 10" tortilla on your counter and begin to assemble the crunchwrap by spooning about 1/4 cup of cooked ground beef into the center of the tortilla; begin to layer the ingredients, starting with a 1/4 cup of black beans and a generous heaping of cheddar cheese. Top with a crunchy tostada and continue to layer with a drizzle of garlic-lime aioli, black beans, lettuce, tomatoes and red onion, plus optional toppings, as desired. Top with a 6" tortilla and fold the 10" tortilla to seal the wrap.

    In a large, dry skillet on medium heat, place the crunchwrap’s folded side down using a spatula and cook until the tortilla begins to brown and seal, about 2 minutes. Flip the crunchwrap and continue to cook until heated through, about 3 minutes.

    Remove crunchwrap from heat and slice into quarters with a sharp knife. Use additional garlic-lime aioli for dipping.

*If you have leftover ground beef that’s already cooked, this is how you can make it Better Than Bouillon Better by simply dissolving Better Than Bouillon Roasted Beef Base in 1 cup of water in a medium size sauce pan over medium heat. In a large sauté pan, add already seasoned cooked beef and rehydrate by adding the Better Than Bouillon Beef Base liquid mixture. Heat ground beef and Better Than Bouillon mixture on medium heat until the liquid is completely absorbed by the ground beef. Remove from heat and set aside.
