Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup pineapple juice
¼ cup lime juice
2 Tbsp Better Than Bouillon® Fish Base
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 bacon slices, cut into thirds
24 peeled deveined shrimp, tail removed
24 pineapple chunks
8 Wood Skewers
Lime wedges

Directions

  • 1

Whisk together pineapple juice, lime juice, Fish Base, oil, honey and garlic.

  • 2

Wrap piece of bacon around each shrimp. Thread evenly with pineapple onto 8 skewers. Brush with pineapple juice mixture.

  • 3

Preheat grill to medium heat; grease grate well. Cook kabobs, turning occasionally, for 5 to 8 minutes or until bacon is crispy and shrimp is cooked through. Serve with lime wedges (if using).

Tips:
• If using bamboo skewers, soak in water for 20 minutes to help prevent charring.
• Serve 1 kabob as an appetizer or 2 kabobs as a main dish.
