Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 lbs chicken wings
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp freshly grated orange zest
½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
¼ cup barbeque sauce
1 tbsp Better Than Bouillon® Smoky Chipotle Base
1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ tsp garlic powder
½ cup butter
1 tbsp chopped parsley

Directions

  • 1

In large bowl, toss chicken wings with baking powder, salt and black pepper until coated.

  • 2

Preheat air fryer to 400°F according to manufacturer’s instructions.

  • 3

In batches, arrange wings in greased air-fryer basket. Air-fry wings, flipping halfway through, for 15 to 16 minutes or until golden brown, crispy and cooked through.

  • 4

Meanwhile, in small saucepan set over medium heat, stir together orange juice, barbecue sauce, Culinary Collection Smoky Chipotle Base, lemon juice and garlic powder. Bring to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes or until sauce thickens. Reduce heat to low. Add butter and whisk until melted. Stir in orange zest.

In another large bowl, toss wings with orange-chipotle sauce until coated. Garnish with parsley.

Tips: Serve wings with veggie sticks and tzatziki sauce on the side if desired. A little bit of baking powder helps crisp up the wings in the air fryer.
