Directions
  1. In a large saucepan, add water, whisk in No Chicken Base and bring to a boil.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine.
  3. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes, or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. Stirring occasionally.
Increase the flavor of this healthy delicious dish by adding ½ cup of chopped sweet potato or carrot pieces, during step 2.
