6 fresh ears of corn, shucked
1
tablespoon finely chopped chives (garnish)
1 tablespoon finely chopped chives (garnish)
Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, add Vegetable Base and lime juice; stir until base is dissolved. Add Cajun seasoning, garlic, and cayenne pepper; stir to combine. Add butter; mix until well combined.
  2. Place a piece of plastic wrap on a work surface. Using a rubber spatula, transfer butter toward the end of the plastic wrap leaving enough room to fold wrap over the butter and shape into a log, about an inch in diameter. After log has been shaped, twist plastic wrap ends tightly; freeze butter until ready to use.
  3. To cook corn, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, add corn and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Carefully remove corn from water and place on a large platter. Cut butter into ┬╝-inch thick rounds. Spread over hot corn and garnish with chives.
