Directions
  1. Add the butter and oil to a large sauté pan over medium high heat.
  2. Add the onions and cook for 15-20 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the garlic and base and cook for 30 seconds more.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool.
  5. Add the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, black pepper, sour cream and mayonnaise to a medium sized mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  6. Add the cooled onions to the sour cream mixture and stir to combine. Serve immediately with potato chips.
