Directions
  1. In a large saucepan, bring water to a gentle boil. Add Ham Base, salt and pepper, whisk to combine; gradually pour in grits while continuously whisking.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook and stir until grits begin to thicken, about 5-8 minutes.
  3. Stir in butter until melted. Add goat cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.
